Lucky for me I got to speak with Peter Heller about his novel, THE ORCHARD, a story about the deep bond between a daughter and her mother who leave their former life to build a new one on an abandoned apple orchard in the Vermont woods. We talk about how this book is a departure from his usual “dude books”, his lifelong love of poetry, and where inspiration begins.
